About Training

Training Within Institution

The Center for Learning Connections at Highine Community College provides skill-based training to Department of Corrections staff. Participating staff represent a mix of Department of Corrections (DOC) facilities, including:

• The Washington State Penitentiary (WSP)
• The Washington State Correctional Center for Women (WCCW)
• Clallam Bay Correctional Center (CBCC)
• Monroe Correctional Complex - Twin Rivers Unit (TRU)
• Monroe Correctional Complex - Special Offender Unit (SOU)

Community-based Training

Additional training is provided to the Local County Reentry Teams in Spokane, King and Pierce counties.
