Tuesday, May 22, 2007
9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Location
The 2100 Building
2100 24th Ave. S.
Seattle, WA 98144

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Attend this full day workshop and engage in a “hands-on” exploration of your learning style and the many
intelligences you have to offer your clients, team, co-workers and organization. Understanding your unique learning style and multiple intelligences is an essential component whether you are working with clients or trying to improve your organization’s communication and performance.

By understanding yourself and other’s learning styles and multiple intelligences, you can enhance
communication, match tasks to strengths and talents, manage time more efficiently, resolve conflict,
and accommodate styles. Equally, a stronger understanding of these skills will assist in working with
diverse clients.

Take-aways from this training will allow you to boost personal performance as well as increase overall
organizational performance by using these significant and unique attributes as an effective mechanism
for success.

Utilizing scenarios and examples occurring in workplace environments, participants will:

  • Understand the evolution of learning styles and multiple intelligences

  • Explore personal and group learning styles and multiple intelligences profiles

  • Learn and apply skills that foster recognition of others’ learning styles and multiple intelligences through observing, questioning, listening, and communicating

  • Receive a variety of relevant tools and methods

  • Engage in environment and scenario-based application and practice of strategies and
techniques that can be applied in all environments whether working with administrators
    /supervisors, coworkers, or diverse clients.
