TRAINER BIOGRAPHIES


OSHA HUNT, MA

Osha Hunt is a multi-faceted trainer with a background in Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, Health Education, and Life Design Coaching. She earned her Master’s degree from Antioch University Seattle in Psychology: Couple and Family Therapy.

As a Mediator and Trainer with the King County Dispute Resolution Center in Seattle, Osha has provided conflict resolution training for individuals and organizations in the community for the past eight years. Osha also has experience as a Health Education Instructor for Group Health, where she facilitated Tobacco Cessation Groups. Prior to that, she presented a Suicide Prevention Curriculum at schools throughout King County for the Crisis Clinic.

Osha brings a lively, compassionate, and interactive approach to training as she supports each trainee in integrating new approaches and skills. With her passion for exploring the possibilities in a conflict and her belief in the inner wisdom of each individual, Osha draws out the strengths of each participant.

KAREN ZAUGG, PhD.


Karen Zaugg is a certified mediator and an experienced trainer and facilitator; her specialties include conflict resolution, management development, and interpersonal skill building.

She has served over twenty-five years in management roles in higher education. In her current position she directs organization improvement, human resources, and client and public relations for a university service organization of over 950 staff.

With degrees from Wittenberg University and Ohio State University, Karen’s PhD is in Higher Education Administration from the University of Washington. Her academic work focused on group processes, leadership, and organization culture. She has extensive post-graduate training in conflict resolution, mediation, and facilitation.
