Scholarship for What?

10 scholarships for Washington State WorkFirst LPA Partners are available for the “Understanding Poverty” workshop to be held on September 26,2007 at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites, Tacoma, WA. Note: Travel and lodging costs are not covered by this scholarship.

Eligibility

Washington State WorkFirst program staff directly involved in either helping individuals facing poverty can apply for this scholarship.

Selection Process

First contact your LPA or Kelly Lindseth (phone: 360.902.0413 email: kelly.lindseth@ofm.wa.gov) to make sure you are eligible to apply.

Then complete application. A sub-committee of the Training Planning Committee will review applications and notify recipients.

Application Process

Download and complete and FAX the scholarship application between the dates of September 10 and September 14, 2007.

Include your supervisor’s signature, email and phone number. Fax (Fax number is 206.870.5915) or mail your application to:
