Attracting and recruiting a diverse workforce is essential for success in today’s business markets and community service sectors.  How effective are your organization’s recruitment materials in communicating your commitment to diversity and inclusion and your ability to provide equitable work environments?  Is the language you are using accessible to the diverse communities of potential employees you’re trying to reach?  And once you’ve developed an effective recruitment process, how will you know if your candidates possess the cultural competencies needed to be successful in today’s multicultural market? 

This workshop will:

  • Provide tools to evaluate how effectively your job announcements and position descriptions are communicating these essential messages
  • Outline messaging strategies for connecting with a broad range of talented candidates
  • Provide tips for designing effective interview processes that call out candidates’ related knowledge sets and skills

Free Clock Hours are available upon request only. Participants can register for Highline Community College Continuing Education Units (CEUs) before starting a course. The cost is $10 per course.

Cancellation Policy:
The cancellation fee is $25. If you must cancel your registration, you may request a refund minus the $25 fee up to 3 working days prior to the event. After this date, no refunds will be issued; you can make substitutions. "No-shows" will be charged the full workshop fee.

Note: All fees must be received within 90 days after event or a service fee of $25 will be added.
