For two intense days (1/12-13/2006), faculty and staff teams from the three major educational sectors—K-12, community colleges, and baccalaureate institutions—worked in their respective subject areas to develop and refine college readiness definitions for English and science. Led by Dr. David Conley, Executive Director, Educational Policy Improvement Center, and Washington State standards expert Terryll Bailey, President of the Allison Group, participants set a course that will now guide the project to its conclusion in 2007.

Included here are resources to inform and assist project participants. Draft definitions will be posted for review and frequently updated so please check back often.
