Elluminate

 

The rest of the day's activities will be hosted in Elluminate. Some campuses are going to continue in the ITV room with a computer, projector, and speakers so participants can continue in a group setting.

 

Most conference participants will return to their offices and join the Elluminate session(s) from their desktop or laptop PC. The links to join the Elluminate session(s) will be e-mailed to conference participants two days before the conference.

Instructions for using Elluminate

 

PREPARE YOUR COMPUTER

  • Plug a microphone headset into your computer – the same PC you will use for the Association Conference. (Although it is not required, it is optimal to have a microphone on your computer.)
  • Update Java - click on “Free Java Download” and follow instructions
  • Test access to Elluminate (any Elluminate room will do – here is a test room)
  • Can’t get your mic / headset to work in Elluminate?
  • Click on: Tools / Audio / Audio Setup Wizard …. follow the instructions
  • Get help from your college IT staff if needed.
  • Need more help?  Elluminate is standing by: 866-388-8674, option #2

ELLUMINATE TEST SESSIONS (optional)

Cable Green will be in this Elluminate room on the following dates / times if you want to test your microphone, speakers and get comfortable with Elluminate.

Feb 23: 3:00 – 4:00pm
March 2: 1:00 – 2:00pm
Both test sessions will be in the Association 1 Elluminate room



ADDITIONAL ELLUMINATE RESOURCES (optional)
Though not required for the Association Conference, you might choose to take Elluminate training to learn more about this new tool.
