Who Should Attend
If you are new to a position of formal leadership in the community
and technical college system, an administrator
new to Washington State, or you have never had any training
for your administrative role, this workshop will help you make the
transition from staff or faculty to administrator. We will discuss
how to hire and evaluate staff, develop teams and direct the work
of those who report to you. We will also review key system and organizational
issues and how budgeting works at state and local levels. You will
leave with a profile of your own approach to leadership and easy-to-use
tools to specifically address areas you want to improve.

Leading from the Middle begins at 3:00 PM
on Sunday, February 10, 2008 and ends at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February
13, 2008.
Registration Fees
$749 double | $849 single
Registration fees include lodging, meals, breaks, and all materials.
Cancellations,
Substitutions and Refunds
Registration cancellations made by January 25 will get a
full refund.
No refunds will be given after that date. If the workshop is cancelled,
enrollees receive a full refund. Substitutions may be made at any
time.
