Trainer Biography
STEPHANIE BELL, J.D.
Stephanie Bell, J.D. is a mediator and trainer in private practice, with an emphasis in workplace and employment conflict resolution. She is also the Manager of the King County InterLocal Conflict Resolution Group, a regional county labor-management and public policy mediation program in the Seattle area.
Prior to this she was the Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator for the City of Seattle where she designed and implemented a labor and employment mediation program for city government in a joint labor-management context.
Stephanie is currently an adjunct professor at the Straus Institute at the Pepperdine School of Law, teaching “Mediation: Theory and Practice” and the University of Washington, Executive Masters in Public Administration Program where she teaches “Negotiations.” Stephanie has also served as an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law.
Stephanie has been an invited presenter both nationally and internationally on topics in conflict resolution.
She earned her B.A. in American Civilization with Honors, from Brown University, and her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law where she delivered the student commencement address.
