Trainers Biography

 

LYNDA SILSBEE, CPT, SPHR

Lynda Silsbee is President and Principal Consultant for Performance Dimensions Group, a Puget Sound consulting firm. Her competencies include:

Lynda is a leading Northwest facilitator, executive coach and consultant with over 25 years experience creating and leading high-performance organizations and teams.  She has broad leadership and industry experience having worked with an extensive roster of great NW organizations including; Nordstrom, Genie Industries, Starbucks Coffee Company, Jones Soda, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Vulcan.  Her diverse work experience gives her valuable wisdom, knowledge and skills which bring measurable results and benefits to her clients.

Lynda is able to keep an eye on the strategic mission of an organization, while empathizing with employee needs.  She has created and facilitated leadership and team development programs, including the prestigious Future Nordstrom Leaders Program, and the Genie Industries’ Scissor Plant Start-Up Training Program.  In 2002 she launched the LEAP Program to provide smaller-sized organizations with the same level of leadership development as a fortune 100 company. She also has developed and implemented performance management systems, compensation systems, and is an insightful negotiator and professional coach.

Lynda has served on numerous boards including; Society of Human Resource Management-Seattle, the Northwest Entrepreneur Network and the International Society of Performance Improvement.  In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member of Seattle Pacific University in connection with the university’s SHRM Certification program and the Human Performance Improvement program as well as facilitates a monthly Executive Roundtable for The Seattle Executives Association.  Lynda is also an accomplished writer and national speaker on achieving High Performance in organizations.

Lynda received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, from the University of Washington. Plus, as a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, Lynda is able to create thorough, systemic and measurable solutions for PDG clients.  Lynda was awarded the prestigious CPT – Certified Performance Technologist designation by the International Society of Performance Improvement in Fall of 2003 for her proven work in the field.

Lynda is a gifted and natural “human developer” who provides a strategic balance to her client solutions.  Noted by her colleagues as “one of the easiest people to work with,” Lynda not only gets the job done, but also facilitates a positive experience for all parties involved.

 

AMANDA SPRAKER, SPHR       

Amanda Spraker is the Senior Consultant for Performance Dimensions Group, a Puget Sound consulting firm. Her competencies include:

Amanda brings expertise and ability designing systems, processes and teams that move organizations quickly and efficiently towards their goals.  Her approach of building cultures of leaders that can move nimbly with the ability to self reflect and improve, is a critical component of the changing needs and demands of any organization.

Prior to her consulting work, Amanda served as a Human Resources and Organizational Development leader in the life sciences, not for profit, healthcare, high-technology, and international arenas.  Most recently, Amanda served as the interim Operations Leader and Human Resources Director for Seattle Biomedical Research Institute.  

Amanda has built the Human Resources and Organizational Development efforts within multiple organizations creating strong teams and processes aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.

Amanda is a skilled team facilitator and has guided many small and large group efforts on various themes including leadership and strategic planning.  She has led team and organization-wide development efforts covering topics in leadership development (performance management, coaching/mentoring, team development), as well as legal compliance (anti-harassment, legal obligations of the supervisor, hiring, employee engagement and retention).

Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Cross-Cultural Communication from the University of Oregon.  Her international work has included small business development efforts with women-owned businesses and educational training and skill building.  Amanda worked as a member of a university international program, recruiting and training volunteers for overseas positions in a variety of industries.

Amanda is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and an active member and past executive board member of the Society of Human Resources Management - Seattle.
