Alan Spence is the Chief Financial Officer of the Seattle Community College District. Prior to assuming that position in July, 2005, Al served for 18 years as the Vice President of Administrative Services at Pierce College. He brings over 30 years of experience in accounting and business management. Al is currently completing his doctoral work at the University of Washington in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. He holds a MS in Business Administration and a BA in
Economics and Finance.
